11 Adorable Animals with Long Ears

Long ears are adorable, and these eleven animals have some of the longest ears in the animal kingdom! From dogs to bunnies, these creatures are sure to make your heart melt.

Long-eared animals are often associated with wisdom and good luck, making them even more charming.

Basset Hound

The Basset Hound is a classic example of a long-eared dog breed. Bred in France to hunt hare, these pups have a long, droopy face and ears that can reach up to seven inches in length.

American Cocker Spaniel

The Long Eared Jerboa is a type of mouse that is found in the deserts of Mongolia. These animals have extremely long ears that can be up to six inches in length. Long Eared Jerboas use their big ears to radiate heat and keep cool in the hot desert climate. The Long-eared Jerboa has the biggest ears on Earth (relative to its size). They are two-thirds as long as its body!
