Rainforest Animals
Colourful and unusual animals dwell in all four layers of the rainforests. All types of creatures are represented, from tiny insects to large mammals.
Life inside a bustling wet, rainforest is a dangerous one. The animals that reside there have to be smart, but wary to survive. Large cats, such as the Puma and Cheetah are always ready to pounce on their prey. Many of the animals are already endangered species, from having there eggs eaten by predators. The rainforests are in danger of being destroyed by loggers and developments chopping down trees for wood. This also contributes to animals becoming endangered, as they rely on the trees for homes, habitats and food.
